Seasonal place that serves seafood. One of the better places in the area. Lots of local and fresh products too.

It will cost you $3 to park at the wharf but it is worth it. Canteen style restaurant, great seafood, fresh, and excellent value. Interesting artwork too! They also have a fish market. The beach on the other side of the dune is fantastic.

The people who work there will make your day no matter what! They live to give a smile and help you feel like you're royalty. The experience is marvelous and a great place for an ice cream, a drink or just to stroll around and have fun!

The scallops and french fries were not bad, but the clams were mediocre and the lobster roll lettuce wasn't fresh and too little lobster meat for a small roll for the price. Inside decor is nothing to look at (be prepared to clean your own tables), but they do have a patio that sports a great view. May seem a little harsh, but the portions are good for the fish and seafood platters and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are definitely worse places to eat or visit the beach on a hot summer afternoon.

Of the places to have fish and chips, fried clams, other fast food fare? The Aboiteau is my favourite. Adjacent fish market shucked a half dozen oysters for me, and sent me to the table with lemon and hotsauce! My "small" fried clam order was adequate for two. Hamburgers available for the non-fish eaters. My real recommendation is the fish market. They have mussels (from this morning), oysters, smoked herring, lobster fresh or boiled, fresh clams, and all the other GREAT things you have to hope make it to your grocery store. And, the fast food menu is very good. VERY good. TOP marks. OUTSTANDING seaside quick fish stop, to eat there or take away, or to stock your larder for later.
